Spirit in Action believes that vision is a foundation for action. Spirit in Action also believes that any individual, organization or community can create a safe space through collective visioning with a focus on the positive outcomes. Our trainings are based in Community Visioning - the process of coming together and bridging divides such as class, race, age, language, sexual orientation, ability, and issues, in order to develop positive action and productive living inclusive of an entire community.
Community Visioning is one of the fundamental strategies that Spirit in Action utilizes to move the social change movement forward. And, the organization understands the need for a strong container to hold the magnificent power of many strong and different perspectives. Spirit in Action’s experience of creating and sustaining that container has been very successful.
Spirit in Action’s Trainings focuses on people working in grassroots movement-building organizations that are interested in their communities needs, the own leadership development and the movement as a whole. The goals of the program reflect Spirit in Action's vision and commitment to leadership development and movement building.
